Adobe Illustrator is used to create vector graphic designs. This software may be used in professions such as web design. One of the advantages of Adobe Illustrator is that it is not resolution dependent meaning that the image looks the same in all resolutions. I found Adobe Illustrator to be really fun to use once I figured out how to work a lot of the tools. I always struggled with getting used to using new tools that I discovered because I was afraid that I might mess up the illustration that I was creating however, most of the time it turned out to be a success. There are hundreds of tutorials to help you use Adobe Illustrator all over the internet. I found the majority of the tutorials that I watched or read to be extremely beneficial.

Some of my personal challenges creating these were finding the creativity to create something original. I also found that on some projects, it was hard to finish them on time because there was so much that I wanted to fit into them. Especially since I had to create a wrap-up to go with most of the projects which takes a bit of time to explain what you did to create the poster. Although, I am very proud of the majority of these works. Some tips for the future Digital Design students are to come up with a big list of ideas with images for things that you can create in the beginning of the year once you've learned how to navigate Illustrator so that you have some ideas for your free choice projects.
